Meet your Insider
Josh is a Swiss-American skier, mountain biker, photographer and tourism professional with a lifelong connection to the mountains. Born and raised in Vermont, he now lives in Switzerland with his young family and has spent years living, working and exploring throughout the Swiss Alps.
The idea behind The Swiss Alp Insider started naturally. When friends and family came to visit Switzerland, Josh found himself showing them a side of the country they never would have discovered on their own — the right mountain villages, unforgettable ski days, local restaurants, scenic routes and experiences far beyond the typical tourist itinerary.
They were blown away. Many returned year after year, each time looking for a new adventure and asking, “What should we do next?”
That experience became the inspiration for The Swiss Alp Insider: helping others experience Switzerland with the same kind of personal connection, local knowledge and sense of discovery.
Along the way, Josh has worked with respected ski and outdoor brands as an ambassador and content creator and has managed high-end vacation properties in the U.S. Together, those experiences bring a unique mix of mountain knowledge, hospitality, photography and tourism expertise to every trip.
The goal is simple: help you discover the Switzerland you probably wouldn't find on your own.
